John G. Lake: An Apostle of Faith by Paul Keith Davis
By Paul Keith Davis

Paul Keith DavisJohn G. Lake was a man who experienced apostolic ministry according to first century standards and changed the world every place that he went.  His life and ministry was a representation of a vessel yielded to God as a habitation for His manifest presence.  Through him the Holy Spirit was able to heal the sick, cast out demons, save the lost, and manifest the very nature and character of Christ.  He demonstrated Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

By every Biblical definition, the life of John G. Lake represented true apostolic ministry.  Through him the great commission became reality and the Kingdom of God was manifested on the earth.  Great lessons can be learned from his life revealing the keys to his power with God.   Careful examination of his life and ministry can help the Church for the coming visitation and restoration.

Having the Lord's Potentials

When the time came for the Lord to be glorified through the sacrificial offering of His life, He made it clear that His life was likened unto a grain of wheat.  When this grain of wheat dies it is for the purpose of bringing forth multiplied grains of wheat LIKE THE ORIGINAL GRAIN.

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.  John 12:24

The Bible teaches, when the Lord returns we are to be like Him.  The Holy Spirit residing in us will reveal the same attributes through us He did in the Lord Jesus Christ.  This belief formed the cornerstone for the life and ministry of John G. Lake.

Lake believed the Lord would not commission us to do the works He did without adequately equipping us to do those works.  He once commented, "We need to set our sights high and refuse the traditions of men who say that it is impossible to do as Jesus instructed us".

True apostolic ministry is simply the extension of the ministry begun by the Lord, our ultimate example.  The power of redemption is so great that sinners saved by grace and filled with the Holy Spirit are given the opportunity of carrying on the very ministry of Christ, doing the works He did.  Lake is a token of this reality given to the 21st century.  Our sights should be set equally as high.

His Definition of the Apostolic Church

During the years preceding and following the turn of the twentieth century, Lake made a very notable and revealing observation.  During those years there had been a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit with great manifestations of power, signs and wonders.  Their generation realized they were given an extraordinary opportunity of seeing the return of genuine apostolic ministry through the revelation of His Kingdom.

Lake later discerned his generation missed the mark by not realizing the true definition of the Apostolic Church.  Some attempted to build an apostolic ministry around the doctrine and manifestation of healing power.  Others aspired to establish the apostolic Church around the restoration of the gifts and speaking in tongues.  Others endeavored to create and establish the apostolic order around the doctrine of holiness.

All of these qualities are attributes of the Holy Spirit and essential to the Church, yet do not singularly sustain apostolic ministry.  Lake observed the people were absorbed in the phenomena of God and not the Person of God.

According to Lake, the truest definition of the apostolic Church can be expressed in the awesome and reverential experience of union with God and becoming One with Him.   He believed the Church of his day did not regard the fullness of the Holy Spirit with the reverence due an experience so sacred and so terribly costly.

For this gift the Lord lived in the world, bled on the cross, entered the darkness of death, hell and the grave, grappled with and strangled the accursed powers of darkness, came forth again and finally ascended to Heaven in order to secure it for His Church.

He believed apostolic ministry is defined and realized through individuals becoming the habitation of God.  The Holy Spirit literally manifested in the spirit, soul, and body of the believers taking total possession of His Church, bestowing upon her His qualities, attributes and potentials.  This process was not merely a reformation; it was a renewal and transformation.  Men and women renewed by the Spirit of God and transformed by the Holy Spirit, becoming One Spirit with Him.

Union with the Holy Spirit was not merely a gift of power but of God Himself.  Out of necessity, Lake became acquainted with the healing power of God through the ministry of Alexander Dowie.  During the later years of the nineteenth century he was miraculously healed of terminal illness along with his brother, his sister, and his wife.  In addition, another sister was literally raised from the dead through the ministry of Dowie.

This introduction to the power of God began a quest in him to not only know the healing of God...but the God of healing.  His desire was fulfilled, he describes, when he became the habitation of God in a powerful encounter with the Lord and His Glory.

His Experience

At the age of sixteen John G. Lake came to know the saving power of Christ.  His salvation experience was a very real one as displayed in his changed life.  Many around him observed this transformation and said, "You are baptized in the Holy Ghost."

While friends around him were saying he had been filled with  the Holy Spirit, Lake experienced a hunger for more of God that was almost unbearable.  He began to pursue the Lord and came to know the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit through the ministry of a layman named Melvin Pratt.

This precious brother introduced Lake to the washing of the water by the Word producing in him a much richer and anointed life.  Those around him acknowledged that surely he had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  Yet Bro. Lake hungered for more.

Several years later, Lake was introduced to the healing power of God through Alexander Dowie.  After experiencing first hand this great power, he moved to Zion, Ill. and associated himself with Dowie.  He received from the Holy Spirit a tremendous impartation of the healing anointing of God.  Many miracles and manifestations of the Spirit followed him.  Those around him again tried to convince him he had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

By the turn of the Century Lake had realized a powerful salvation experience, an even more powerful sanctification encounter and an impartation of the ministry of healing.  At each juncture those around him tried to convince him he had received the fullness of the Holy Spirit, yet his heart burned for more of God than ever before.

As a result he began a season of fasting, pray and waiting upon the Lord for a nine-month duration.  During this time he desperately searched for the place in God that would satisfy the longing of his heart.  At the end of the time of separation, Lake had an awesome experience with the Lord.  In it, Lake found himself surrounded in a cloud of glory.  Volumes of virtue and power surged through his innermost being with waves of glory.

Lake later spoke of this experience saying, "the glory of this experience remained in my soul.  I found that my life began to manifest in the varied range of the gifts of the Spirit.  Healings were of a more powerful order.  My nature became so sensitized that I could lay my hands on any man or woman and tell what organ was diseased, and to what extent".

He knew he had been immersed in the Holy Spirit and become a dwelling place of God.  His heart and soul were now satisfied the Holy Spirit was residing in him speaking through him and saturating every fiber of his being.

It was during this season that science even testified to the healing and re-creative power of the Holy Spirit.  Lake would visit hospitals and begin to diagnose cases the doctors were unable to analyze.  The physicians later testified his diagnosis was correct.

On another occasion he submitted himself to the scrutiny of microscopes and x-ray machines so doctors could witness the Power of God as he prayed for individuals.  They would actually attach the instruments to patients and watch through the most powerful instruments of science as tissue began to be restored and human cells responded to the power of prayer.

Finally his heart was satisfied he had received the fullness of the Holy Spirit producing the nature and character of Christ within him.  He believed, as the Scriptures teach, this indwelling experience now equipped him to carry on the ministry of Christ as did the early Apostles.

Triune Salvation

During the winter of 1913, Lake presented a teaching to the Church of England entitled, "Triune Salvation".  This teaching revealed a key secret to his power and intimacy with God.

So significant was its content that the Bishop of London wrote of it saying, "It contains the spirit of primitive Christianity and reveals the distinction between the Christian soul of the first and twentieth century, the Spirit of Christ's domain, by which Christianity attained its spiritual supremacy...It is one of the greatest sermons I have ever heard and I recommend its careful study by every priest".

In this study, Lake reveals the important significance of our complete redemption on all three levels of human life.  Complete redemption of our spirit, perfect deliverance of our soul (mind) and complete freedom of our body.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (1 Thessalonians 5:23)

Lake taught it was the tendency of the average Christian to cease in their quest for God at the atonement of their spirit.  He believed it was equally as important for the believer to allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify the soul and the body in order for the individual to become the habitation of God.

The sanctification of the soul literally involved the impartation of the mind of Christ.  John Wesley defined sanctification as "possessing the mind of Christ and all the mind of Christ".  This level of consecration was essential for our thoughts to be perfectly in tune with the Lord's thoughts and our ways consistent with His.

Complete sanctification of our soul and mind also involved the renewal of our emotions.  Many believers are trapped in the tyranny of grief over the past.  We are a new creation and all things have become fresh, past failures have been erased by the blood of Christ.

Grief will ultimately lead to bitterness and bitterness will defile.  Consequently, it is essential we allow the Holy Spirit to thoroughly consecrate and sanctify our soul, mind, and our emotions in order to become the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit.

Complete triune salvation also involved the separation of the believer from all that would defile, recognizing our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and should be consecrated accordingly.

Romans 8:11 declares: "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you."

The Lord's imparted life granted through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit will provide divine health and freedom from the lusts that are the result of man's fallen condition.

Lake taught that the genuine Christian is a separated person.  Alienated forever unto God in all the departments of life; his body, his soul and his spirit are forever committed to the Lord.  This absolute abandonment to God or "triune salvation" is the real secret to the successful Christian life and essential to becoming the habitation of God.

Unconditional consecration makes the Christian, according to John G. Lake, a Christ-man and reveals the secret of life and communion with God through the Holy Spirit secured within our entire being.

Not Without Holiness

Without holiness the complete purposes of the Church cannot be fulfilled.  A Holy God can only dwell in a pure vessel.  John G. Lake once said, "Think not that thou shalt attain the highest in God until within thine own soul a Heavenly longing to be like Him who gave His life for us possesses our own heart."

Holiness and sanctification are sometimes used interchangeably in the Scriptures.  A holy and sanctified condition can only be realized when our own fleshly nature is first revealed to us.  Once the tares of our human soul are uncovered we then call upon the grace of God to separate us from all that is ungodly and purge our spirit, soul and body from every worldly tendency.

Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see The Lord.  (Hebrews 12:14 )

As Lake once put it, "There arises in the heart the desire and prayer for the Spirit of God to eject, crucify and destroy every tendency of the opposition of the Holy Spirit"

The heart of man must be purged by holy fire and washed from every stain by the cleansing blood of Christ.  Those who desire to be a partaker of the nature of Christ must ever feel the purging power of Christ within.  Once the Holy Spirit takes up residence in us, there is a release of power through the indwelling Spirit lifting us above the lusts and desires of this world allowing the believer to live a holy and consecrated life.

This desire for the purity of God's nature reveals a vital ingredient in the life and ministry of John G. Lake.  As he put it in 1916, "Holiness is the character of God.  The very substance of His being and the essence of His nature is purity".  The purpose of God and the salvation of mankind is to produce in man a kindred holiness, a radiant purity like unto that of God Himself.

Clothed in a Spirit of Humility

Another important attribute in the ministry of Lake was his commitment to living in a spirit of humility.  Lake often quoted:

You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble. (I Peter 5:5)

If we are to return back to the future, our true apostolic heritage and Kingdom example,  we must adhere to the qualities demonstrated by our apostolic fathers.

In Acts 20:19, the Apostle Paul acknowledges his commitment to humility in his service to the Lord.  The resolution to humility by the first century apostle burned equally as bright in the heart of John Lake, a twentieth century apostle.

Lake desired to follow the example evidenced in Moses and seek to be the most meek man in the land.  By virtue of this commitment to humility, he was able to say "the Spirit of God ran through my person like a river of Heavenly fluid.  Cancers withered under my touch, cripples of every type were instantly restored and works of creation in the bodies of men took place as a result of humbling myself under the mighty hand of God".

Like Moses, he desired to not only see the acts of an awesome God but to understand His ways.  As a result, he discovered the Lord's way is through servanthood and a spirit of humility clothing the believer.

It is only through amazing grace the nature and works of Christ can be exhibited through us.  God gives His grace to the humble.  Humility is truly a key ingredient to the restoration of true apostolic ministry and the return of the shekinah glory to the Church.

Alexander Dowie, a mentor of Lake, once said of humility, "in becoming an apostle, it is not a question of rising high, it is a question of becoming low enough.  It is not a question of becoming a Lord over God's heritage, but it is a question if a man shall be called to be an apostle whether he can get himself low enough to say from the depths of his heart as did the Apostle Paul, "it is a faithful saying, worthy of all acceptance, that Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners of whom I am chief.".

The Empowering Presence

As with the first century apostles, Lake would not attempt full-time ministry until he had been endued with power from on high.

Even though the early apostles had received an anointing from the Lord for casting out evil spirits and healing the sick, they had not yet become the dwelling place of God until the day of Pentecost had fully come.  It is one thing to receive anointings or gifts from the Lord, yet altogether another to become the literal dwelling place of the manifest presence of God.

Lake knew the reality of the empowering presence of God abiding within, anointing and equipping him to, not only minister healing and salvation to a lost world, but to also express the radiant presence of a Holy God.  As he expressed it, "becoming a Christ-man having all the potentials through the Holy Spirit that resided in Christ Himself".

His indwelling presence makes the believer a master over every power of darkness that is in the world.  He is to be God's representative in the world.  His presence in a Christian is to be as powerful as the Holy Spirit was in the life of Christ.  Consequently, fear of evil spirits and demonic opposition is out of the question.  Not because of any merits of our own but because of the Lord's dominion and victory.

Lake spent a season of prayer and fasting precisely seeking a special anointing for casting out demons.  The Lord graciously responded to the request of his servant by imparting a powerful authority and boldness necessary when dealing with evil spirits.  As a result, people traveled to his meetings from all over the world to be delivered and set free from demonic opposition.  Tremendous testimonies are on record as evidence of this ministry.

The Lord's empowering presence also carried Lake to substantially broadened understanding of the Scriptures.  Powerful and revelatory sermons emerged from the apostle of faith as he allowed the Holy Spirit to unfold the mysteries of the Kingdom. According to numerous reports, he had the capacity to inspire faith in the hearts of those who heard him.

Lake was a man without compromise when it involved the Spirit's revelation of the Word.  He utterly refused to jeopardize the true revelation of the Word for a false unity that he believed resulted in spiritual weakness.  He believed "principle" is better than unity and the ultimate end of "principle" would result in the true unity of the faith as described in Ephesians 4:13.

Lake believed the secret to Christianity is not in DOING but in BEING.  It is in being the possessor of the divine nature of Christ and His empowering presence.  We are to be the reflection of Christ's character and our message should be in the demonstration of the Spirit and power.  It is by becoming one with the Father that we know peace in the midst of storms.  It is through the Lord's abiding presence we find the secret place of the most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

AN ‘APPOINTED TIME’ FOR THE BODY OF
CHRIST: A WORD TO THE GLOBAL CHURCH
FOR 2011 by David Orton December 2010
Page 1
You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the
times (kairos). Mt 16:3
You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favour to her; the appointed
time has come. Ps 102:13
Not all moments of history are equal. Some are hinges on which a quantum increase of the kingdom
swings. We are currently in one of these.
If we fail to discern accurately what God is doing in this moment much will be lost to this generation. It is
imperative for us to understand the times, like the sons of Isaachar, that we might know what to do (1 Chr
12:32).
The New Testament has two Greek words for ‘time’.
Chronos refers to the general flow of time, from which we derive our English words chronology and
chronometer (the instrument by which we measure time – i.e. a clock or wristwatch).
Kairos, however, refers to an ‘appointed time’ for a specific purpose. As a momentary window it demands
an accurate and forceful response for its purpose to be achieved. For example, it was the word used in the
weaving process for the momentary opening of the fabric through which the shuttle travels. It was also
used in archery for the narrow aperture in space and time through which an arrow shoots to hit its target.
A kairos, therefore, in God, is an opening in time through which God comes to achieve a particular
purpose, demanding an immediate and forceful response. Jesus describes this when he explained that the
kingdom of God must be taken forcefully (Mt 11:12). Responding to a kairos requires spiritual violence.
First, it must be recognised; and secondly, it can only be entered through radical obedience.
The wisdom writer aptly declares that, “Without a vision (or prophetic revelation) the people live
carelessly”, or as Eugene Peterson puts it,
If people can’t see what God is doing,
they stumble all over themselves;
But when they attend to what he reveals,
they are most blessed.
Pr 29:18
We have been stumbling “all over ourselves” for the next best thing in church growth and community
impact; and, particularly in the prophetic and larger Charismatic streams, for increased spiritual
phenomena, because we have not discerned accurately what God is doing.

FOR 2011 by David Orton December 2010

With the knowledge that God does nothing except he reveals his counsel to his prophets first (Amos 3:7), I
submit the following word for your discernment.
“October 8”
In November 2009 I awoke one morning with the voice of God ringing loud in my spirit with the words,
“October 8”.
There was nothing more; and so, for the next eleven months I pondered it’s meaning, sensing it was
significant.
And then, as the date approached, I received a phone call from a particular leadership team inviting me to
meet with them on “October 8”. I had no other appointments for that date, and so, I knew this meeting was
significant. After a five-year journey they were at an impasse, meeting to consider the future of the group.
A season of maturity and harvest
To back up a bit, for several months leading up to this I had seen a phenomenon across the larger body of
Christ: that we are in a season of full maturity and harvest. Seeds of character and destiny planted over
years, and especially in the last season, are coming to full maturity. Decision by decision, seemingly
insignificant at the time, choices have been made, imperceptibly forming characters and destinies. What
was not visible in the seed is now made visible in the mature fruit. It is only at harvest that wheat and
tares can be distinguished. This explains why, on the extreme end of the scale, there has been a sudden
outbreak of high profile ministers being brought to the light for gross departures from the faith, from false
teaching to double lifestyles of adultery or homosexuality.
A harvest of two seeds
We are entering a harvest season, but a harvest of what? It is the harvest of two seeds: of wheat and tares
– of the flesh and of the Spirit. Our response to the kingdom of God determines whether we sow to the
Spirit or to the flesh. It is important to understand that the “flesh” is not referring to our physical bodies,
which are the temple of the Holy Spirit, but in the Pauline sense, to our fallen human nature that is
predisposed to self-effort and self-will, particularly in our attempts to serve God. These two seeds are
within all of us. When yielded to two kinds of Christians result. They are illustrated in Ishmael and Isaac.
While both were of the same father, Abraham, Ishmael was conceived by the flesh. With the delayed
realisation of the promised son Abraham impatiently resorted to his own plans and power to bring it to
pass. Isaac, on the other hand, as the son of promise, was born through Abraham’s faith and patience at
the ‘appointed time’, twenty-five years after the promise. ‘Ishmaels’ and ‘tares’, therefore, are attempts at
achieving the divine purpose prematurely through our own efforts.
We must remember that the parable of the wheat and tares is a kingdom parable addressed to the
generation from whom the kingdom was about to be taken. The parable, therefore, as with all the kingdom
parables, is not about heaven and hell, but about yielding to the character of the king and his kingdom.

CHRIST: A WORD TO THE GLOBAL CHURCH

Page 3
Therefore, being a ‘tare’ is not so much about losing personal salvation, or living in gross sin, but rather
about missing the fullness of the kingdom through the dominance of self. Sons will always remain sons.
However, the question is whether they will be mature sons. Those who refuse kingdom maturity will be
disinherited, losing the kingdom, while those who submit to the maturing process of God’s disciplines will
inherit Father’s business.
A sifting & sorting
The last season has been a sifting and the next will be a sorting. In the sifting we have made decisions,
seemingly inconsequential at the time, but with spiritual consequences as they have determined whether
we are in reality ruled by the kingdom of God. We may think we are “serving” God, while unwittingly our
service begins and ends in self-determinism; that is, we decide when, where, and how we “serve”. The call
of the kingdom is never convenient. We are being sifted every time there is a clash of loyalty between God
and our money, God and our career, or God and our family. This is not to say these things are not
legitimate. However, it is to say that this will play out in small real life decisions, moment by moment, as
to whether we will put the kingdom of God first – first in our affections, first in our relationships, first in
our schedules, and first in our finances. The high call of God in Christ Jesus does not brook with
competing loyalties. For the person who is seeking the kingdom these competing demands will be regularly
denied. Others may, but you may not. The way into the kingdom is exceedingly narrow, and few are they
who find it.
In the sorting there will be much movement as God’s people are realigned. The decisions made in the
sifting will determine alignment in the body. Previous loyalties and relationships in the body will come
under much tension and even break as Christ marshals the troops in military order for war. Those who
have refused to yield to God’s authority in the body or in the competing demands of life will be taken out of
the frontline. The Lord of the harvest will re-assign labourers according to their obedience in the sifting.
“October 8” – The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) 2011
Returning to “October 8”. On checking the Jewish calendar for 2011 I was amazed to discover that it is the
date for the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur).
This has great prophetic significance for the body of Christ in 2011.
By way of background, the corporate life of the old covenant church, Israel, revolved around the three
annual feasts: Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles.
They provide a powerful type and shadow of spiritual truths and ‘appointed times’ in God’s calendar for
the universal body of Christ.
The typical and prophetic significance of the first two feasts has already been fulfilled: Passover, fulfilled
by Christ, our “Passover lamb”, in his substitutionary death; and Pentecost, in the outpouring of the Holy
Spirit in the upper room. However, the typical and prophetic significance of Tabernacles remains to be

fulfilled.
Unfortunately, with the decline of the church from the second century, the spiritual truths of Passover and
Pentecost were gradually lost, needing to be restored. God intervened and through the Reformation
(1500s), the Evangelical Revival through Wesley, Whitfield, and Edwards (1700s), and the Pentecostal
Revival (1900s) the truths of Passover (justification by faith & holiness) and Pentecost (baptism of the Holy
Spirit) have been restored. Each feast restored has been a major kairos or ‘appointed time’ for the global
church.
Nevertheless, this still leaves, Tabernacles, the last great feast to be fulfilled.
The feast of Tabernacles consists of three parts: in order, they are the feast of Trumpets, leading up to the
Day of Atonement, followed by the feast of Ingathering.
Mid-twentieth century was an ‘appointed time’ – a new kairos for the body of Christ. There was an opening
in the spirit and the feast of Trumpets began. This was a shift from the feast of Pentecost (Pentecostal
Revival of the early 1900s) to the feast of Tabernacles (present and future moves of God). The feast of
Trumpets in the Old Testament was a ten-day period marked by the blowing of trumpets, fasting, and
humbling before the Lord, all in preparation for the Day of Atonement.
The blowing of trumpets, signifying the prophetic ministry, announced the feast. Mid-twentieth century
saw a new awareness of the prophetic, particularly through the Latter Rain outpouring (various ministries
and churches in North America & beyond). The Healing Revival (William Branham, Oral Roberts et al)
and the Evangelical Revival (Billy Graham, Bill Bright et al) also occurred at this time. All of these were
sparked in 1948, or thereabouts, coinciding with the restoration of the state of Israel. The Charismatic
Renewal (1960s) and Jesus Movement (1960s) followed rapidly on the heels of the Latter Rain and Healing
revivals as a flow-on effect, taking the move of God to all nations and denominations. Many of its most
influential teachers spoke out of the truths of the Latter Rain and Healing revivals. Subsequent
outpourings of the Spirit, the Third Wave (Vineyard, 1980s)), and especially the Toronto Renewal (1990s),
have flowed on from the Charismatic Renewal. Through these moves of the Spirit ‘spiritual’ worship
(singing in the Spirit/prophetic song of the Lord/scripture in song), ministry of apostles and prophets,
prophecy and the laying on of hands, unity of the body of Christ, maturity, restoration, healing and
deliverance, and intercession became common currency in the larger church.
And so, for the last sixty years, in this feast of Trumpets, the call has gone out for the Bride to prepare
herself for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. There has been a strong Elijah anointing on various
prophetic voices preparing the way of the Lord. The call to bridal intimacy, to maturity, to repentance and
humility have all been preparatory for a new kairos – the Day of Atonement, and finally the feast of
Ingathering.
2011 – a new kairos for the global body of Christ
October 2010 to October 2011 is an ‘appointed time’ for the global body of Christ.

CHRIST: A WORD TO THE GLOBAL CHURCH
FOR 2011 by David Orton December 2010
Page 5
All that the feast of Trumpets signifies will accelerate and be completely fulfilled. There will be a shift into
another dimension of the Spirit and of God’s purpose for the church. The Day of Atonement and the feast of
Ingathering will begin to be fulfilled.
Passover and Pentecost were preparatory for Tabernacles, the last great feast and climax of the Jewish
year. The Day of Atonement was the centre point of this feast.
So, what does the Day of Atonement signify for the church?
As Passover speaks of salvation from sin and death the Day of Atonement must speak of something more.
The Day of Atonement speaks of a mature church entering the fullness of all that Christ, as our Passover
Lamb, has purchased – entry into the inner sanctuary, that previously inaccessible realm where God
manifestly dwells – the Holy of Holies. As the culmination of Israel’s year it speaks of the church
ultimately attaining to mature manhood, to the fullness of the stature of Christ (Eph 4:13). And as the
one day of the year when the Apostle and High Priest went through the veil into the presence without
perishing, it speaks of the church moving into apostolic order and resurrection life – into a fuller
experience of the powers of the age to come. Inscribed by the finger of God on the tables of stone, the Ten
Commandments contained in the Ark of the Covenant, declare God’s holy judgments against humankind –
the penalty of death. And yet, the blood of the sacrifice, now sprinkled on the Mercy Seat, allows the
Apostle and High Priest, on behalf of the whole nation, to appear in the presence of God’s eternal
judgements and yet live. The Day of Atonement, is therefore, the fullness of the first-principles of Christ,
particularly the final two – eternal judgement and resurrection life:
Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying
again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
and of instruction about washings (baptisms), the laying on of hands, the resurrection of
the dead, and eternal judgment.
And this we will do if God permits.
Heb 6:1-3
The first principles of the doctrine of Christ will be fully restored to the church as she goes on to maturity.
Each principle corresponds to the feasts of the Lord as they have been restored or fulfilled in the church:
1. Passover - Repentance from dead works & faith towards God, restored through
Martin Luther and the Reformation - justification by faith (1500s).
Ascension Gift Ministry: pastor & teacher.
2. Unleavened Bread & Firstfruits (within Passover) - doctrine of baptisms,
restored through the Anabaptists - baptism in water (1500s); holiness,
restored through John Wesley - sanctification (1700s).

CHRIST: A WORD TO THE GLOBAL CHURCH
FOR 2011 by David Orton December 2010
Page 6
Ascension Gift Ministry: evangelist.
3. Pentecost - baptism of the Holy Spirit, restored through the Pentecostal
Revival (early 1900s).
4. Trumpets (within Tabernacles) - laying on of hands, fulfilled through Latter
Rain Revival, Healing Revival, & Charismatic Renewal (mid 1900s).
Ascension Gift Ministry: fuller restoration of teacher & evangelist; partial restoration of apostle;
complete restoration of prophet.
5. Day of Atonement (within Tabernacles) - eternal judgement & resurrection
life, yet to be fulfilled - the next move of God (2011?).
Ascension Gift Ministry: complete restoration of apostle; apostolic alignment of Christ’s global
body.
6. Ingathering (within Tabernacles) - maturity - one body of Christ and the
harvest of the nations, fulfilled in the coming move of God (mid 2000s?).
Sifting – brokenness before the Lord
As the feast of Trumpets comes to completion 2011 will see an acceleration of the sifting. The call to bow to
the government of God, to humility and brokenness before the Lord, will intensify. Additionally, the
difference between wheat and tares – between flesh and spirit – will become more visible. There will be a
dividing between the holy and the profane.
Sorting – apostolic alignment
This will lead to a sorting of God’s people. There will be a major apostolic alignment across the larger body
of Christ. True apostles who have been internally processed and aligned with Christ as the chiefcornerstone
will become the foundation of the dwelling that God is building by his Spirit. They will emerge
from the willing embrace of obscurity through the fires of suffering and persecution. They will come into a
new level of authentic spiritual authority, functioning as true fathers and mothers of the faith. Eschewing
titles and positions they will serve through relational and organic networks in humility of spirit, but with
great authority. Individuals and groups will be faced with the decision to either accept or reject this new
breed of apostolic leader. Those who have baulked at the government of God through the heart sifting of
the last season will recoil and refuse this new alignment. They will reject Christ’s authority in his body,
choosing to isolate and rebelliously dwell in a dry land. Nevertheless, Christ’s authority will return to his
church and the fear of the Lord will be restored. A new breed of Christian, with a teachable heart, will
seek out spiritual fathers and mothers for the wisdom of God. They will lay down their lives for the sake of
the body, investing themselves in the redeemed community. As the church comes into apostolic order there
will be a quantum increase of the government of God. God’s favour will increase, accompanied by miracles,
signs and wonders. Even so, the miraculous will be with apostolic purpose; that is, for the harvest. This
will be in stark contrast to those who are currently pursuing supernatural phenomenon to engage a

constituency and advance their ministries. The apostolic oneness of Christ’s body will be restored, with the
increase of new citywide organic wineskins. These will be apostolically related and organisationally
decentralised, bypassing the institutional system of church. Through these new organic apostolic networks
the body of Christ will be prepared and equipped in the supernatural for the harvest of the nations.
How to respond to an ‘appointed time’
When the kingdom comes to each of us it comes in a way that is imperceptible to the natural man. Our
senses and cognitive capacities are inadequate for the knowledge of God. The natural man cannot receive
the things of the Spirit. As helpful as book-learning may be it is not adequate, apart from the Holy Spirit,
to reveal God. Therefore, I must recognise that without humility of heart and reliance on God, I do not
have the equipment or the ability to understand the Christian life, let alone live it.
The kairos, while in space and time, is not of this world and must be spiritually discerned:
However, as it is written:
“No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him” —
but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
1Co 2:9-10
Jesus, in response to the Pharisees’ demand for a sign, pointed to the contradiction of them interpreting
signs of the weather, but not discerning the signs of the ‘times’ (kairos):
You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the
signs of the times (kiaros).
Mt 16:3
Confusingly, various end-time scenarios have used this text to give weight to what they see as the signs of
the second coming, usually apocalyptic disasters and social trends. However, Jesus was not referring to
the supposed signs of his second coming, but of the actual sign of his first coming.
In fact, he said that the only sign of the kairos would be the sign of the “Son of Man” (see Lk 11:29-30).
God becoming man – the incarnation – is the sign of an ‘appointed time’ – of when heaven comes to earth. I
will return to the full significance of this in a moment.
AN ‘APPOINTED TIME’ FOR THE BODY OF
CHRIST: A WORD TO THE GLOBAL CHURCH
FOR 2011 by David Orton December 2010

Thus, the first coming of Christ sets the pattern for every future kairos. He does not come from Jerusalem
as a positioned leader of a religious institution with man’s credentials and endorsement. In fact, he comes
with heaven’s imprimatur from outside officialdom as an illegitimate carpenter’s son from an insignificant
town called Nazareth. And so, like the Jews of Jesus’ day, we are expecting him to turn up in a particular
way. And therefore like that generation we stumble over the visitation of God because it doesn’t fit our
criteria. Like the Pharisees we develop our watertight theologies to protect the enscripturated truth, but
crucify the personification of truth when he stands among us. Or like the crowds we want the miracles –
the acts of God, but short-track the ways of God. Or like that generation, we may feel the sting of injustice,
expecting him to come as the liberator, but refuse him as the slave-master.
Here is the rub. Christ comes to us incarnationally – that is, in his body. This offends us. We want to
relate to him direct, which we do as our High Priest. But Christ the Apostle comes through his body,
through those whom he sends as apostles. We are offended at the earthen vessel – it is not the colour or
the shape we expect for an apostle – and therefore, we miss the treasure, Christ.
Do you want more of Christ in 2011?
Here is the condition:
You will not see me (Christ THE Apostle) again until you can say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in
the name of the Lord (apostles)’.
Mt 23:39

Winds of Heaven says: The 'queen of heaven' was actually a reference to the goddess Diana. We need to research everything we think or believe; if it doesn't line up with the Holy Scriptures then it is to be discarded.

Alert!!!!

The Roman Catholic "Church" is Not Christian

Practically all precepts of the Roman Catholic institution contradict the Bible repeatedly. The Bible is the word of God. In this article, we are going to examine a few Roman Catholic doctrines and compare them with the Bible. The Roman Catholic church is the largest cult in the world and most preachers will not openly say so because it is so large. For Catholics who read this, please remember this: the person that tells you the truth is the one that cares. If you will only believe the holy scriptures--the Bible--and nothing else, you can be released from deception today. Just look at the scriptures and compare them to the precepts of Rome. You will not be the first to read the scriptures clearly and then be saved by REPENTING of your sins and BELIEVING on the death, burial and resurrection of our wonderful and glorious Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who shed his blood to pay for our sins that we have committed. You will not get to heaven by following a (supposedly) religious organization--the Roman Catholic institution--which is founded on heresies and blasphemies.
For a glimpse of the atrocities committed by the Roman Catholic institution, check out the Antichrist Slideshow or do a net search on the Inquisition or the Crusades. During the Inquisition, the Roman Catholic institution killed millions. Why? Primarily to suppress any and all opposition to her heresies. Side "benefits" included taking the material wealth of its victims and showing the pope's power. The Catholic Inquisitors tortured, crippled, burned, and imprisioned millions of people. Whatever happened to love your enemies? (Matthew 5:44)
Before we get to specific problems with Catholic doctrine, let's review how this bloodthirsty organization treated a man who simply wanted to get the Bible into the hands of the common people. In the late 1300s John Wycilf translated the scriptures from the Latin. About 44 years after his death, the Catholic institution dug up his bones and burned them calling him an arch-heretick. In the 1500's William Tyndale sought to translate the Bible into the language of the common people, English. He could not gain approval from the Catholic institution, so he worked as an outlaw on the run in Europe, translating the Bible. He was eventually captured, condemned and executed in 1536. It is because of people like these men, Tyndale and Wycliffe, that we have the scriptures today. If the Catholic religion had its way, we'd still be in ignorance about the Bible and enslaved to the pope. Time fails me here to tell of other marytrs like John Hus, John Rogers, etc. who were killed by popish persons. Guy Fawkes and other papists (followers of the pope) tried to kill King James VI & I (the king who commanded the translation of the Authorised Version of the Bible (also known as the Authorized King James Version), published in 1611) and the whole British parliament, in the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. King James identified Rome as the seat of the antichrist in his, "Premonition [warning] to All Most Mightie Monarches."
I'll list the catholic tradition first and then what the Authorized King James Version of the Bible has to say about the matter.
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Call priests father, e.g., Father McKinley.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS -
Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Forbidding the priesthood to marry.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS -
1) It is a doctrine of devils to forbid God's people to marry. 1 Timothy
4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
2) Peter was married (remember the pope is supposedly continuing the apostolic line through Peter).
Matthew
8:14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.
Mark
1:30 But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.
Luke
4:38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.
3) Paul, a great apostle, remained single; however he made it very clear that he could marry if he wanted to.
1 Corinthians
9:5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Mary never had other children after the Lord Jesus. She remained a perpetual virgin.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - After Mary delivered our precious Lord Jesus Christ into the world Joseph did know his wife. Joseph and Mary indeed had children together, plenty of them. They were the Lord's half brothers and sisters for their father was Joseph and mother was Mary.
Matthew 1:24-25 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not TILL she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. Matthew
13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
13:56 And his sisters, are they not all with us?
Whence then hath this man all these things?
Mark
6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Mary is the queen of heaven.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - Worshipping the queen of heaven (which is not the Mary of the Bible) is worshipping another god and it provokes the Lord to anger.
Jeremiah
7:17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
7:19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Mary is the mother of God.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - Mary is the mother of the earthly Jesus, not God. Jesus pre- existed from everlasting as God (see John 1:1). When He came to redeem mankind, He laid aside His glory and was made like unto sinful man so that He could take our punishment (Hebrew 2:9). God has no mother. He has lived from everlasting which means He had no beginning.
Isaiah
43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. [If Mary gave birth to God, she'd be God.] Psalm
93:2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.
Micah
5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler [Jesus] in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Philippians
2:6 Who [Jesus], being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Pope called Holy Father.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - The term Holy Father is only found one time in the entire Bible. It was when Jesus prayed before He and His disciples went to the garden of Gethsemane. He referred to God the Father as Holy Father. It is blasphemy to call a man by God's name
John
17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Purgatory, nuns, popes.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - None of these is mentioned in the Bible. It is a sin to add to the Bible.
Proverbs
30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. The pope is a man who takes upon himself honor which belongs to no human being. Even the very name by which he allows himself to be called (Holy Father) is highly presumptuous and blasphemous (see above).
One does not need the pope to determine what God's will is. The Bible says that God has given the Holy Ghost to each believer and that He (the Holy Ghost) guides and leads us into all truth. All a believer needs is the Bible and the Holy Ghost to know the will of the Lord. Popery has been treacherous, but worse, each pope has been the blind leading the blind. Jesus said that both will fall into the ditch. Catholics, come out of this system that cannot save and know Jesus for youself, intimate and up-close.
NOTE: Purgatory is supposedly a place where a person is purified of sins--even popes supposedly go there. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the one that purifies us of our sins. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.... When a person dies their eternal home is sealed--heaven or hell--no in between. Hebrews 9:27 ...it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Venerating/worshipping images. Pope bows to statues of Mary, people worship the eucharist and have statues/candles in their homes and churches.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - It is idolatry to venerate images. We are not even supposed to make them.
Exodus
20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God...
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - The mass. Through transubstantiation, the wafer/host and the wine supposedly become the actual blood and body of Jesus Christ when the priest prays over them. He is supposed to be sacrificed over and over again on Roman Catholic altars.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - Jesus died once for sins, never to be repeated. He sits on the right hand of God and does not reappear in the mass as a mass of blood and flesh.
Hebrews
10:12 But this man [Jesus], after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. John
19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
1 Corinthians
11:24 And when he [Jesus] had given thanks, he brake it [bread], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come (not for the forgiveness of sins or to receive Jesus).
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Saved, in part, by good works.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - Good works are the fruits that grow out of being saved. They do not make you saved. An apple does not make its tree an apple tree, it was already an apple tree before any apples appeared. When you see the apples; however, you know what kind of tree it is. If a person is saved, he will shew forth good works because he has the spirit of Christ in him. The good works don't make him saved only the blood of Jesus can do that.
I John
1:7b ...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Acts 16:31b
...believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.
Romans
3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
What about James 2:20 "faith without works is dead"?
The kind of faith that saves is a faith that shows forth the works of God. Even devils believe in Jesus and tremble (James 2:19). Many people believe in Jesus but they won't follow Him. They have a faith, but not the kind that saves. If a person has true faith in Jesus, the Holy Ghost dwells in him and will cause good works will show forth in his life. The good works confirm the faith by which the person was saved. James 2:21-23 uses Abraham as an example. Abraham believed God so when God asked him to sacrifice his son Isaac, Abraham, out of his faith in God, offered up Isaac.
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - The church is founded on Peter.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - Jesus Christ is the foundation of the church. Peter was a man like you and me. Jesus called Peter Satan in Matthew 16:23 when Peter rebuked Jesus dying. When Cornelius tried to worship Peter, Peter responded, "Stand up; I myself also am a man." (Acts 10:26). The pope needs to remember Acts 10:26 when he has men bowing to him and kissing his hand like he is worthy of worship.
1 Corinthians
3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Matthew
21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected [Jesus], the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
* * * *
CATHOLIC TRADITION - Confessing sins to a priest. Petitioning saints and Mary.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - We are to confess our sins and needs to God alone.
I John
1:9 If we confess our sins, he [God] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 Timothy
2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus [not Mary, not saints, not priests, not the pope];
I John 2:1, ...And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
In the Lord's Prayer found in Matthew chapter 6, we are told to ask God to forgive us of our debts. Our Father in heaven is the one that forgives us.
* * * *
There are many other scriptures that could have been used here to testify against the doctrines of the catholic religion. There are also many other doctrines of the catholic religion which could have been refuted (e.g. the sacraments, receiving the Holy Ghost, salvation through the catholic religion, penance, rosary, etc.).
* * * *
The Catholic religion has a history of taking the money of poor widows in order to say masses for the dead (which do no good) and collecting the material possessions of nuns. In Italy, the heart of Roman Catholicism, as I understand it, there is a saying that goes, "Without money, they don't sing the mass." That trickery is evil on a number of fronts--1) the mass is blasphemous and dishonours the finished work of Christ 2) people who trust in the mass waste their money and go to hell 3) their survivors waste their money and possessions having masses said for the dead 4) the survivors go to hell and then their survivors pay for masses...the costumed curia have subverted whole houses for centuries on end collecting wealth for the coffers of the Roman Catholic institution 5) the doctrine of purgatory is a heresy because there is no such thing as purgatory--it is not in the Bible (the apocrypha is not part of the Bible, it is a collection of spurious books); and, 6) they blaspheme God when they put a monetary price on the gift of God because the Bible teaches that the gift of God is without price. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. No money, penance, "indulgence," masses, are required or accepted.
I've heard it said that the Roman Catholic institution is the wealthiest government in the world. It owns a good share of America's hospitals and has many real estate interests. She has a history of collecting lands and wealth through the ages. One look at her splendor confirms this. If you want to get right with God, you have to go through his Son, Jesus Christ, according to his word and not the word of man and his traditions.

The Great Whore of Revelation 17
Revelation 17 talks about a woman. This woman is a whore. In fact she is a great whore (ref. Rev. 17:1)--she gets around town and gets in bed with the kings (presidents, prime ministers, vice chancellors, dictators, despots, rulers, princes, etc.) of the earth. In the name of God, she overrides God's commandments with her own traditions--she's a fornicator. This great whore sits on many waters (peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues--ref. Rev. 17:15)--she is all over the world in every nation. She has her hands in everything and has been in operation over 1600 years (history books may date her back to Constantine, but she is truly an extension of the Roman emperors even bearing their styles like pontiff). But she is a mystery, nobody knows her these days--she is MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH (ref. Rev. 17:5). But why is she called Babylon? Because she is descended from Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon--the Bible (Daniel and the gospels) tells the story and gives the order of these four kingdoms --> (1) Babylon, (2) Medes-Persians, (3) Greece, (4) Rome who was in power during time of Christ (she never died). This whore is a drunk whore. She is drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus (ref. Rev. 17:6). Are you acquainted with the Roman Catholic Inquisitions or the wiles of her pestilent Jesuits? Many, many books have been written concerning these matters, but we don't learn about these things today. Fake "Christianity" does not talk about the great whore but this is only a recent development (the church was still somewhat loud in the 1940s after WWII)--the coverup of history has been truly remarkable, but it has not been complete. The record still stands in heaven and in earth, and always will--praise the Lord for his power to reveal and make manifest the hidden works of darkness. No one need be deceived. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Please read the introductory letter near the top of our home page addressed in a yellow block to the unsaved.

STAND UP AND FIGHT!!

STAND UP AND FIGHT!

To all of my brothers and sisters in Christ: STAND UP AND FIGHT!! There is a war in the heavens going on right now. We are seeing the effects of this as corruption and depravity hits new highs in our nation. We are chosen to be the 'salt and light' of this world. Intercede for this nation as more of our leaders are showing their dirty hands. This week U.S. Lawmakers passed a bill that make 'sodomy and bestiality' no longer 'illegal' for those serving in our military. Our Military does not need to have to put up with this filth as they are voluntarily serving to protect our country.
This nation was founded by a covenant with God. Let us never forget that! As His faithful servants we are called to decree and declare His Word over our land. Many are receiving 'warnings of impending judgments' over our country and over others. Let us all agree in prayer, asking our Lord Jesus and our Father Yahweh to guide His hand of judgment over these houses of filth and over the evil doers in this land. Pray for the protection of the innocent and for the salvation of the lost, the back sliders, and those who 'are in the valley of decision' to come all the way into His Kingdom.
We are NOT Sodom; We are NOT Gomorrah; we are the United States of America. There are millions here who can pray the prayer of agreement that this law, and many others, will be undone. Unlike Lot, and his family, there are MANY of us who need to stand up and fight, decreeing and declaring that we will not stand for this.
This filth is embodied within the National Defense Act which has been in the news lately as also having contained provisions for U.S. Citizens to be arrested and detained without a warrant or a hearing. Four Senators stood against this and asked for the provisions for this law to be removed from the bill. The Senate voted to include them in the bill. Here's an explanation of the sodomy bill:

This link for the 'detention of U.S. Citizens by the military is below:

Joshua 24:15

King James Version (KJV)
15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
If you will read this carefully you will see that Joshua spoke of 'the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites'... Which gods were those? Guess what? Those are the false gods or demon gods with whom the Heavenly Forces are doing battle right now! Pray for God's Hand of Protection to be upon you and your families. Cover them with the Blood of Jesus. It's time for the greatest 'Passover' of all time. Get yourselves ready!

Hebrews 12:22-29
22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not Him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused Him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from Him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

The Times and The Seasons

I was lying in my bed during the afternoon and as I lay there I began to hear the Voice of the Lord speaking to me. I listened for a few minutes and then I realized that I'd been hearing some lengthy, detailed, messages so I got up and got a pen and a notebook.

The Lord had begun with speaking about 'Seasons'. He said that 'seasons are a time for planting, harvesting, gathering, resting, and warfare'. This will be explained further in the body of the message.

The Lord told me about 'things': He assured me that He had made 'provisions' for me, and then He added 'all the things that you need', as my mind went immediately to food and water. Then He spoke to me the word 'assignments' which refers to those duties that He calls me to do. Duties such as prayer, ministering in the life of another, and, sometimes, going to a place and speaking a 'word' (prophetic and meaningful) to that person.

He told me that IN God I have: Peace, Truth, Wisdom, Love, Patience, Goodness, Compassion, and Rest. He reminded me that I personally had to 'go through a mild judgment' to bring me back on path as I had been called to ministry and had left it to go into teaching and then into real estate.(He used to show me panoramic visions and told me many things. He called for me to 'come up' and He showed me areas of heaven, the clear streets of gold, and my 'mansion'. I was able to walk around beautiful rooms and smaller places where seating areas were placed for people to sit and talk. I saw lush plants, fountains, banquet tables filled with wonderful food, and I walked around and spoke to only a few people during one visit. He personally greeted me on a street and walked with me for a ways and told me who certain people were. I saw the Apostle John, writing at a desk, and I saw a glimpse of a handsome red haired man, the only one that I saw wearing a crown, and the Lord told me that the man was King David. I met Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac.)

Continuing with the message, the Lord told me that 'soon' I would be 'taken to a new place in Him'. A place of complete Faith, Peace, and Safety. He said "you will ask and I will answer'. He told me that 'many new plans' are taking place spiritually. "Don't look at the world, look to Me; walk with Me, for I will show you many things that most won't see. I reveal only to those who love Me".

He took me up to a very high place in the third Heaven and said: 'Behold the world"! At this point I could see stars all around me and I look down and I could see the Earth. "Look closer!" I looked down and my vision 'zooms' in and I see: war, famine, drought, and sinking land. "Soon things/events will speed up as we move forward to the culmination of all things".

"I will dip My hand into oceans, seas, rivers-they will spill out and many will lose their homes. The wise, those who hear My voice, have already left. I have placed you here (in my home/location) for the 'Season of Reason', known only to Me. Seasons (on Earth) will become one with both hot and cold, dryness and rain. Speak into the seasons for your provision. For what you decree will be".

"Time will stop; slow down; and move forward as you speak. I will give you My power for purposes of growing". He showed me that I'd 'plant, crops would mature, and then there would be a harvest'. In other words, He'd give me dominion over my area.

"Those things that have seemed to be impossible will be possible. I will lend to you My power for these seasons. I will give you Abundant Protection. No man's hand will be laid upon you. You will move about unharmed. I AM THE LORD OF ALL! My people who know my voice will hear it and be saved. Endure all things patiently; you are in My Hands".

"Peace, Reason, and Wisdom will be yours, my daughter, as you have chosen to dwell in Me. Seek Me in all things. The Winds move when I speak; the Earth shakes at the sound of My Name. I can change all things in one day. In MY HAND are many nations. I will shake them violently. I will keep others still. You won't even feel the shaking".

"Do not be dismayed by what you see for I AM doing a wondrous thing; nations will rise, nations will be broken. My Holy Land will endure much but I AM with them. They will come out with purified hearts and whitened robes".

"All about you people will fear. Comfort them in My Truth and in My Love. These things must come to pass".

"Then I will come for those who are Mine. I will dwell with them forever. Look up! Be Ready! For I AM coming soon for My Bride. Make ready! The time is short. Watch for 'the seasons'; for at 'the season's Highest Point of Battle' will be the time of My Return".
